Regional Consistency Delivers Benefits for Customers and Suppliers

At Arrow we work hard to ensure that customers can gain all of the benefits of dealing with a global distributor while having access to the technologies and support infrastructures required to meet specific requirements at a local level.

We also recognise that many of our customers are increasingly working across geographic boundaries. It is only natural, therefore, for them to expect the same levels of service in each of the regions they operate – whether that means the same suppliers on the linecard, consistently high levels of technical support, or access to the same portfolio of supply chain services in multiple countries.

What’s more, providing multi-regional consistency has benefits for suppliers that, in turn, improve Arrow’s customer offering. Recognising that Arrow can share its knowledge and expertise across multiple territories, for example, gives suppliers the peace of mind that customers have access to technical and design-in support that goes far beyond the capabilities of a single distributor operating in just one region.

Providing such consistency requires continual investment and ongoing evolution of the underlying infrastructure and processes. The latest example of such evolution is an Arrow pan-European initiative of aligning the European go-to-market strategy. Key elements of this strategy are the creation of EMEA-level technology and engineering channels and a focus on bringing a greater degree of consistency to sales and supply chain operations.

Of course successful delivery of these consistent services is only possible through a strong local presence covering sales, engineering and other support services. To this end we have made some regional changes that will ensure that local leaders have all of the support and tools that they need – from across Europe - to drive the implementation of the strategy.
